12-Year-Old Kid Makes Shelter Cats & Dogs Stylish Bow Ties
This world needs kindness and compassion and sometimes all it takes is the smallest of acts. And when it comes from kids, it just restores your faith in the millennial generation to help make the world a better place. This 12-year-old from New Jersey, Darius Brown, creates handmaid stylish bow ties for dogs and cats. He donates them to animal shelters to help them get adopted much faster.
Crafts For A Cause
Darius Brown himself has fought the odds just like these shelter animals. When he was 2 years old, Darius was diagnosed with speech, comprehension, and fine motor skills delays. But none of these challenges stopped him.
Helping His 4-Legged Friends
At 8 years old, Darius helped his older sister cut fabric for bows. This also helped develop his fine motor skills. Darius then discovered his talent and creativity and wanted to use it to create positive changes in the world.
