2-Year-Old Met A Footballer Who Was Born Without A Forearm, Too

21-month-old Joseph Tidd is a very special little boy. He was born with a congenital condition that led him to be born without a fully formed left arm. Joseph and his parents are raising awareness about this condition through his Instagram page. Carson Pickett was also born without a left hand and gave little Joseph a fist bump. Joseph is just beginning to learn about his differences and is already a little advocate. “We found the Lucky Fin Project which connects thsoe with limb differences and supports the commuity,” Joseph’s mom said.

Pickett truly made Joseph’s day. The toddler giggled and smiled at the sports star. His parents wrote on Instagram, “You can see the moment that Joseph pauses, the look on his face changes…he is thinking hard as he’s studying Carson’s arm. The joy that washes over him as he realizes ‘she’s just like me’.”
