3-Ingredient Brownies

Brownies, a classic dessert. Whether you prefer the corner, side or center piece, the truth is everyone loves this chewy, fudgy, chocolatey treat that just makes everything better again. There’s a variety of different types of brownies out there; thin, chewy, dense, moist, crunchy. You can get peppermint brownies, peanut butter brownies and candy bars embedded in brownies; brownies with chopped nuts, no-bake brownies, and healthy brownies; in fact, get rid of the cocoa all together and you have brownies’ cousin; the blondie.

All this talk of brownies has made us hungry, and we’re here to provide you with a super easy recipe that you can whip up in just 5 minutes, using only three ingredients. You’re gonna need some all-purpose flour, eggs and your favorite chocolate-hazelnut spread. If you want to get fancy and add anything extra, such as chocolate chips, or chopped nuts, then make sure you have some of those to hand as well.

Start by preheating the oven to 350F. Measure out 1 heaping cup of flour, 2 ½ cups of chocolate hazelnut spread, and 3 large eggs. Add all three ingredients together in a large bowl, and mix together until combined. If you’re adding any extras, carefully stir them into the batter now. Either grease or line a 9-by-13-inch pan with baking parchment, and pour the batter into the pan, spreading the mixture to the edges. If you want, you can add an extra step here and press in some squares of your favorite candy bar, or even sprinkle a bit of rock salt to enhance the flavor. Bake for around 25 minutes until there’s a slight crisp and the surface looks set. Don’t be afraid of a little wobble, this will become fudgy as the brownie cools. If you leave it in the oven too long, you risk it over-baking and getting a chocolate cake. Once baked, allow the brownies to cool slightly before cutting into squares and digging in.
