A Crew Of All-Female Indigenous Firefighters Work To Protect Their Sacred Land

The wildfires in Australia have claimed the lives of millions of animals, as well as dozens of humans, and have caused immense damage to the ecosystem. Thankfully, there are many brave volunteer groups, both local and foreign, working round the clock to fight the flames. One such group is The Lakes Tyers Aboriginal Trust Country Fire Authority, an all-female, indigenous firefighting brigade who are fighting night and day to protect their sacred land. Twitter users everywhere have taken note, and are praising these brave volunteers.
