Couple Finds Magical Surprise In Their New Home

Moving into a new home with your significant other is an incredibly exciting experience, especially if it’s your first real home together. However, it also comes with its own unique set of challenges and not just the dilemma of deciding between paint or patterned wallpaper. Settling into your old routine in a new home can be tricky, and sometimes it takes some time to get adjusted to this new unfamiliar place. However, just like there are always going to be bumps in the road of life, there are also going to be those little things that make our day so much better. Recently, a young couple moved into a new home and found a seriously magical surprise waiting for them. The previous owners had taken everything with them so the house was entirely empty, except for one thing – a perfectly preserved Harry Potter poster taped to one of the bedroom doors.

This magical surprise definitely brightened up the couple’s first week of settling in. The wife, S, found it while she was fixing up one of the home’s spare bedrooms, which the couple was planning to turn into a guest bedroom. As she was checking out the room, she noticed something on the back of the door which was left behind by the home’s previous tenants. Upon a closer look, she realized that it was a Harry Potter poster featuring the series’ villain, Voldemort. Luckily, S and her husband just so happened to be major Harry Potter fans themselves, so this bedroom decor definitely put a smile on their faces. The couple took it as a sign that this home was truly meant to be theirs, and decided to keep the old tenants’ poster up. So now, guests staying over in their home will have some cool artwork to look at while laying in bed. The owners who left the poster might not have intended to, but they truly left S and her husband the perfect housewarming gift.
