Healthy & Delicious Gingerbread Loaf

Being constantly surrounded by so much tasty yet unhealthy food turns eating healthy into a challenge. Many of us would love to be more conscious when it comes to the things we are feeding our bodies, but simply cannot find the right recipes to do so. But this changes now. This gingerbread loaf is a great middle-ground between eating yummy food and feeding our body the nutrients it needs.

Before you start, preheat the oven to 320°F. Then, mix dates, almond milk and a little apple syrup in a blender. Pour the mixture into a mixing bowl and add all-purpose flour to start making the dough. Next, add 50 grams of almond flour to the mixture, and when that is well incorporated in the batter add another 150 grams. Add a pinch of salt, baking powder, and cinnamon to the dough and mix well. Pour the mixture into the loaf tin and spread it evenly. Before putting the batter in the oven, add your favorite unsalted nuts on top of the dough. Then, bake for about 45 minutes.
