July Food Holidays

July is a wonderful month for many reasons. First of all, the weather is absolutely perfect for a picnic. Also, we get to celebrate July 4th, which is basically an excuse to go to the beach and have a BBQ. But believe it or not, Independence Day is not the only food-friendly holiday during this warm weather month. Here are some national food holidays in July which you probably didn’t know about.

We’ve always loved celebrating Independence Day, but we didn’t know that July 4th was a national food holiday as well. You might think that this day would be devoted to celebrating foods like coleslaw, watermelon, and honey-barbequed spared ribs (yum.) But actually, this foodie holiday is centered around a dish that has nothing to do with American independence – Caesar salad.
