Even today, almost 50 years after the death of the beautiful blonde bombshell, Marilyn Monroe is still as iconic as ever before. In one of her most famous photographs, she is wearing an ivory dress while standing over a windy subway grate. This photo and many others are what helped shape the image of the famous actress. However, few people know about the man behind the camera. Sam Shaw was one of Marilyn’s closest friends and the photographer behind many of these great images.
