The Perfect Fall Recipe: Pumpkin Pancakes
If you have noticed the first few dry leaves on the ground and pumpkin spice lattes being sold everywhere, you know fall is finally here. To celebrate the beginning of the new season, we have brought one of our favorite fall recipes: pumpkin pancakes!

Just like the ingredients for regular pancakes, you will need all-purpose flour, an egg, milk, brown sugar, vegetable oil, baking powder, vanilla and a little bit of salt. However, for these special pancakes, you will also need pumpkin puree and pumpkin pie spice. To make the batter, simply whisk together all the dry ingredients, then pour the milk, vegetable oil, egg, vanilla and pumpkin puree into the bowl. After whisking everything until fully combined, let the batter rest for five minutes.
The trick to keeping your pancakes from burning is simple: you just need to pre-heat your pan. Then, lower the heat, pour some batter onto your nonstick frying pan, and flip it when it starts to bubble up. Serve your pancakes immediately with some maple syrup, chocolate syrup, or whipped cream.
