Volunteers Bring Christmas Joy To Hurricane Victims, Homeless

One group of friends is dedicating their Christmas season to helping those less fortunate, specifically victims of Hurricane Harvey and the city’s homeless population.

PJ Simiens and his group of North Pole-inspired helpers delivered over 1,000 Christmas trees to families across Houston, Texas this past week.

The artificial trees served as very real donations from the King of Christmas retail company, and were hand delivered by PJ and his team. When the group reached the end of their delivery list, there were several extra trees that still needed homes for the holidays.

The remaining trees found homes at the Boys and Girls Club, Big Brother Big Sister, Habitat for Humanity, and several other local organizations and communities supporting the less fortunate this time of year.

Thanks to PJ and his inspiring group of friends, many more families will have a little extra joy in their home this holiday season!
